DTS- DISTRIBUTED TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
Distributed Temperature Sensing is an essential management tool for operators to organize the load distribution of a high voltage network and to be able to locate any hotspots. This contributes considerably to an efficient and cost-effective distribution of electrical power, in particular in the case of underground networks.

The system produces the fully distributed temperature profile over distances up to 30kms with an accuracy of 0,5 degs C and a spatial resolution of 1 meter.

For temporary or periodical measurements we offer to carry-out these measurements.

DSS-DISTRIBUTED STRAIN SENSING
The DSS system does not produce only the distributed temperature but also the distributed strain. Sometimes it can be necessary to also monitor the structural integrity of certain parts of the network. Examples can be subsea high voltage cables and cables in areas sensitive to seismic activity and subsidence.

DSS is capable of reading-out distances of up to 50kms, with a booster station even up to 100kms, and produces one reading every meter. The measurement accuracy for temperature is 0,5 degs C, for strain 20 microstrain ( 0,02mm/m).
